Today's worship was fun :). Thank God for letting everything go well.
The best thing that happened today was when I ran into Hammon's dad who just so happens to be a Major in the army logistics who just so happens to know people in CPC, who just so happens to be able to get me posted to that wonderfully near camp which is wonderfullly near to my house which is the best thing I've heard for a long time. He also said how the army will not bother me while I take MC and I should have no problem undegoing all my operations till I ROD.
Life is Good as of now. The best ever even. The load on my mind has just gotten lighter. Army is now no longer a major issue. Thank. God.
Then I patted Teri on the head (stunted her growth.), she went shopping.
Shine Forth was an uplifting experience for me, if I wasn't so conscious of the fact that I stunk (Don't ask.) and Bryan changed seats with Lisa so he could get away from the smell, and Lisa started waving her bulletin at me (For that she got a full highly concentrated wif of my B.O. I am such a charmer.). Pastor Juliet talked about being baptised with the holy spirit which was a reminder that the holy spirit was helping me along wherever I was. It was a nice sermon :).
After church we found out that 3/4 of da people were away/busy so my place got cancelled. So went off the PS with Claire and Claire, thinking that there was gonna be a movie. Chang was nice saying that if I wanted to play pool he would hang out with me, great guy that he is. Didn't think it would be a good idea, so hanged out with Claires. Dean and Bjorn were enroute to my place but thank goodness they called. So Lisa, Dean and Bjorn came down to PS to meet us. We had a nice really salty lunch at the japanese restru...hmm not really more like a shop. Then I felt kinda torn coz the girls wanted to shop but the guys wanted to do something more active, didn't wanna leave the Claires feeling that I was running off or something, good thing Liz was around to lead them on a shopping expedition.
So I went to play pool at monster cue, and got TRASHED by all these young fellas who arn't supposed to be able to play pool till next year and fragged me one by one. I think I'm too pampered using my own cue and all those accessories, the house cues really put me off the groove that I was training up on. Disappointing on my part. =(
Then my dear sister forgot her important chinese stuff and left it at her friend's house, coz she's obviously stressed out about her chinese O lvls... I can still remember the feeling... Brr... So I left the dudes and went back to PS where we waited for Lisa's dad to come before Claire Tay went home and Claire Chong followed me to do my errands.
Went back to Church and was greeted by the scene of Jac studying and Gilly/ Jon Woo making lots of noise. Add Claire, that other dude and yours truely = lots of distractions for a poor person who wanted to mug.
Games! Soccer with lotsa macho tension in the air!
Which was cut short by this wonderful display of queerness, where Justin Khoo, Jac and Gillian came running out of no where carrying huge pieces of lumber. There is simply nothing to say. It was weird.
Then Basketball, which wasn't that fun either, whole bunch of people standing in front of a hoop waiting for the rebound. We need the 3 second rule in the paint... was rather boring. Top that off that dude ticked me off in the wrong way and Good Old Ben from his old basketball days turned it up a notch and started trash talking and showing attitude. Not a good combination in church. Sigh~
Well today went nicely except for 2 instances when I got angry at people. One of my pet peeves is foreigners who like to push people and call them idiot, a simple excuse me would have gotten me out of the way, argh. Bunch of people cramped up in a lift, heavy shove to get people out of the way. He was spoiling for a fight... Unfortunately making a scene in a shopping centre leading to jail time while on MC is just stupid so walked away. The next was playing basketball with this fellow who has no idea what the rules are and was constantly pushing and hitting people while he played the game. Hello dude? This is basketball not rugby. I should have stopped playing... I wish we played captain's ball without the machoism inside, it's peaceful and fun.
Now I wonder if I could possibly go back to Australia and play any competitive sports, it's not fun when you have to act against the nature God wants you to have. If I have to choose between basketball and God, it's easy now to choose God, hopefully when (God willing) I'm fixed, I can still hold on to that.
Have a good week everyone :D

Well today was nice, I woke up and watched my daily dose of CSI with breakfast then I went back to camp to visit the guys. Everyone was so sianed out, but I won't write about it la. Like they say "You can do anything don't get caught.". It was nice la, at least they still had their good humour.
Then at night ran into Chang who is the army fanatic, he loves it. Walked to waffle town to meet Claire and Debbie, but thought I should spend some time with Dan and Chang, Dan is going through alot right now so he's abit down. Ah well :).
Then aiyah the usher meeting didn't work out. No ushers this week unfortunately.
Hopefully next week! Rather tired right now. See ya guys.

This morning God warned me that I may not have all the M.C.s that I was supposed to have, and lo and behold I lost one. So I ran down to Dr. Tho's office and got a new one for the one I lost and another one for the next 2 weeks of June :D. Next tuesday, gonna have my legs examined, time to operate :O. Abit scary, very happy. Time to get these legs fixed.
Tomorrow, I had back to Camp to see the M.O. and check out my unit, see what's going on, a sign of good faith. I wonder whether I have go for for a medical board again. Hopefully not.
Well on to TV news! I finished all my OC shows! All 27 episodes gone. Sigh~ what a great ride but now it's over... Who wants to borrow? :D Burn yourself though my computer is running out of space. Also finished all of Smallville! Now have to wait till 3rd quarter for the next seasons. Thankfully, I still got 1/2 of season 3 of CSI and the whole of season 4 CSI to watch :D. Then I never watched friends when I was young so I have the WHOLE dunno how many years of friends to watch as well as the current one on channel 5.
Started training on my billard this morning, note to self get stupid table raised and fixed and moved indoors. Back hurts so bad! Pool is so darn fun.
Gonna start swimming the moment I lose weekday car previleges, for now the SICC gym is awesome. Not to mention I'm cutting back on carbos and eating more veggies. Gotta lose the weight.
Saturday I get to ask all the schools on Law, medicine and engineering courses. Need to find a degree which will help me join the business world and reach that dream job...
Oh and don't forget the new hospitality and welfare ministry in sunday school, who wants to be an usher? :D We can rotate every week some people do.
Lastly, holidays are coming! Well almost for everyone. Chinese O lvls for the sec 4s, term 3 exams for the JC fellas. Sentosa, first week? :D Not to forget Hillsongs. Must remember to wear ear plugs...
Ok Bye everybody time for lunch, going out to help Joseph buy a new acoustic and maybe think about getting a new one for myself... :D

Yesterday night was great, really made me look at the brighter side of life. I went out to BTP and bought some books, got my lenses fixed, bought swimming gear and a billard glove (So ahbeng :D). It's useful ok!
I'm so glad I finally found 2 books which I can use to improve myself further. The first of which is "The God you're looking for." By Bill Hyberls. Great book on the character of God. Next is this interestingly simple psychology book called "Personality Plus", the way it's written, it's so simple to understand the basic ways to improve yourself and understand others in a few chapters.
Took a break at home, then read alot... Went to the gym with all the "pretty" people. Seriously, the amount of testosterone in that room was brain numbing. Then got all the models and house wives, I guess keeping that figure takes alot of hard work. I averted my gaze to the tv and put the music to full volume.
Back home now chatting with everyone and just having fun. Friday have to go see the Camp MO. Tomorrow better call Dr. Tho set appointment for next monday. Oh and don't forget to give a PDL to Mdm.

Great match. The Lakers destroyed the Timberwolves in a very down-to-earth game, nothing really fancy from both sides but top notch defence and Derek Fisher's 3 point shooting streak really saved the day. Not to mention Shaq owning the centre... everyone did well tonight. :D Man do I love basketball, can't wait to get back out there to play again.

Had a nice chat with my parents about alot of things. I'm glad I have parents to turn to when there isn't anyone else, and they set me on the right course again and again.
Planning to start a personal diary, Jac was right, somethings you can't just put on the internet for everyone to see. Unfortunately I ain't the best at the pen, never mind can improve. The thing is I want a nice diary but I don't want to pay 25 bucks for one.
Just wondering how many people are interested in coming over on sunday for some fellowship and hanging out time. I was thinking musical worship, sharing and stuff (I wanted to talk to you guys about some stuff regarding life in sunday school for the welfare and hospitality ministry), then we can all just slack off, swimming, pool, jamming, let's not do soccer and basketball make ourselves tired before games :P.
Ladies please, if you want to swim and arn't comfortable wearing swim suits openly, I suggest wearing your swim suits underneath your clothes and wearing black. Guys, wash the gel out of your hair before you go into the water and bring spare clothes!. Finally, no wet people allowed to play pool. No muggers(I mean it! If you bring any work I will lock you up in the guest room!).
Almost done with The OC (mental note search for THE oc not OC when looking for torrents.), it was a nice ride while it lasted. Time for real life again :). Got lots of books to read, prep for life in Australia and beyond. As of now I'm still very keen on Law as my professional degree, just seeing if God closes up more doors along the way. Doctor Ben Phua isn't going to exist because he would much rather become Mr Ben Phua and lead the life which I can't really say is what God wants me to do? But I feel is where I can best enjoy work and use my skills and talents.
I can imagine going to court rooms and spending nights planning things to say. At the end of the day however I would like to be in a leadership position in whatever company I decide to join. Thus the need for skills which will put me in such a position.
My parents are being very supportive and my friends are really fun. I feel emotionally uplifted.

Woke up at 6 today with leg cramps, nostalga of what it was like to have to wake up at 6 everyday. Heard the sound of my old watch ringing somewhere in my room at 615 as the back up that I had to my 6 o'clock. (I havn't woken up to my back up for a long time...). I couldn't fall asleep so I went to the computer to watch CSI. Then my mother snuck into my room and scared me at 8, telling me to go check out my uni stuff so I did.
Cramps and all, Jac and I went down to borders to what I thought was a book buying expedition, but "Jac hates parting with her money" so the p* :P Princess: Didn't. Buy. Anything. I on the other hand have a list of which books to buy next month. The difference between boys and girls. I ran into Kevin Lim mid way, hope he's not too bored... He's on MC from the army too.
In the end we finally ended up in the section that I love, the COMICS section! Where we had lotsa laughs. Now going to borders with no money has meaning to me! :D
Now am kinda tired, bye all :P

Legs cramped up from lack of salt. Very very badly :P. So fortunate that I had my friends to help me.
Exhausted. Thanks to everyone who helped me today from the cramps to the agonising pain to the cramps to the salt water to the going home. I can't remember much of the rest except pain, cramp, backache, pain... I am so tired. Thank God I lived through this ordeal, can you imagine if I had been driving when it happened? And now at least I know that it is not completely the fault of my extra bones but more on my not properly nurishing myself before strenuous activity. Salt! Yes drink gatorade!Whew.
Anyway enough about the tiring part of today.
We went to watch Shrek 2! :D Nice big group~All younger than me by at least 3 years? Some what la. Anyway it was much more fun than last week. This week we went earlier to avoid the sunday traffic throughout orchard. I'm really happy all of us got to go out together, I don't remember a time I didn't have a smile on my face. Unfortunate the weather was so darn hot. I hope that Justin Eng and the others enjoyed it too!
Who was there? Beng, Dean, Maurice (Lol maurice and dean were half killing each other.) Claire Chong, Claire Tay, Kaye, Lisa, Clement, Bryan, Daniel, Kenneth, um forgot his name (sorry dude.) I think around 15? 16?
The one part that stuck in my mind today was when we were buying tickets, this really nice guy was trying so hard to get the tickets for us and I was trying to buy the lot but the whole bunch of girls stuffed themselves in front of the booth. I literally had to push my way in then all of them squeezed in front of the booth. I hope the poor ticket dude wasn't traumatised! :D They even fought to see who kept the tickets. In the end Lisa did, I threatened her with loss of life if the tickets were lost ($110 bucks!). *Liz rolls her big eyes.
Oh and we went ARCADE! Wah today my police ducking game sucked sia. First time died in first area! Thaks Kaye for keeping my stuff! :P
Oh and Claire Chong smiled alot today, which is nice to see. The other claire was somewhat nicer today, wah that was hard to say. (You lousy!)
Oh the next part was when Sarah screamed very loudly for no apparent reason.
And the part when people were jaywalking. :P
Alot of fun things la and frankly it's been a long time since I've had so much fun. :)
Thank you everyone for making today so fun. Though tiring. And insane. And mad. Time to sleep, really exhausted.

I feel extremely confident that I can do anything with God by my side.
This is a turning point for something better. I know it =) and if God is for me then who can stand against me? I will not fail.
Well I sat down and thought about it and I took Daniel up on his offer to do Hospitality and Welfare for 8:30 Sunday School. =)
That is one aspect of my life right now. The other is that I have also decided to help Bryan Hoo with the Sec 3-upwards guys cell because these guys will be our leaders when we go and we should do all we absolutely can to help in whatever way. How?
Another is my longing to lose weight even though I'm between operations and am not supposed to be doing any strenuous activity. Swimming. Check.
The last aspect is to find a community of friends who will accept me as who I am, my closeset friends have entered the army and the group has broken up. While it is enjoyable to jump from community to community, I simply do not have friends who I can hang out with without feeling...weird and out of place and having to live around their schedule. It's just pitiful and it's making me a extremely boring person. I have to go out and meet new people. The question is how?
*Ben's anger.
I have recently let alot of things that people say get to me. It's simply got to stop. Please I have only recently started to enjoy who I am, keep your judgement and criticism to yourself.

Sorry this entry is all about me again.
"It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ,...he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall ppurpose he is working out in everything and everyone"
Ephesians 1:11
It took a while to notice but I have been focusing too much on everyone else and God. I've forgotten to spend my time with God everyday. So that has to stop.
So today I restart and change my strategy, following the success method of a man who's talents can only be God given.
My belief is in God, my values lie in the love of my fellow men.
My Goal is to have a long and purposeful life on earth. To help.
My strategy will be readjusted and redone to reach and succeed in this goal.
There are 3 ways to deal with failure. To give up, to try again using the same method leading to the same outcome, or changing the strategy and achieving new outcomes until success is reached.
I have to master this art of trusting and surrendering to God while also constantly learning and improving upon myself so I can complete my purpose on this earth. It is a MUST for me. Will God allow me to be independant to learn and do things that I want to? Or is his perfect plan one which I have to completely surrender to him all things. Is it possible to do both, to reach a point where both our goals are the same? Where God can observe me and I can not worry about whether what I'm doing is off or wrong? I have to learn how to live without appreciation from the world. To do all things to glorify God, to prevent my past from affecting his plan for the future. But it is hard to live when I am not living up to my expectations for life. Do I be patient? Will I change when I go back to study? So many questions...
Lord please take all my burdens and share your knowledge with me. Please present me with the gifts and talents I need to fulfill my life's purpose. I want to be truely free. Please help me not to forget you.

OC! Haha, currently top on my to watch list. In front of CSI and Smallville, btw I DO only watch smallville coz it's about superman. Kristen Kreuk isn't my type, as well as the CSI girls and all the girls in the OC. I really do watch TV shows for the plot :D. Though I'm gonna watch Singapore Idol hoping that our dear country actually has great singers HIDDEN amongst all the workers and business people! And I do watch Sponge Bob and all the comedies on star world from time to time and oh Simpsons...futurama... I watch too much tv.
Argh I have such a headache after playing basketball today. I thought I'd get out and have some exercise not go all out in a 5 on 5 shoot out. Too much slack time sudden heavy activity equals brain pain. Who would have known? :)
Been reading Adam Khoo's book on success and at the same time working through What colour is your parachute (A career guidance book) by Richard Boles. Both of which are top in the fields, one a bottom student in the singapore system who became a millionaire at 26 through completely depending on himself. Another a Christian man who teaches people the ways of knowing yourself and finding your dream job.
Poor Teri has tuition tomorrow. Everyone has no money. Jac is gonna sleep. The older people are mugging. My buddies are in army. I dunno what the other guys are doing. :S
No money = no having fun in Orchard. There has to be more than life than orchard... I wonder what people do besides spending money in Singapore. Is there something I missed?
Well I guess my life can get rather slow moving, but it isn't that bad at all :) Slower pace gives me more time to think and reflect. Not to mention becoming the BANE of all those who are mugging! Stop comparing! :D

My MC has been extended again!! I love my doctor man. He rox, seriously, if I do become a doctor I would be like him. Before him I only knew Prof Satku who totally didn't care about me even though he was the best in the field. But Dr. Tho really gives a damn about my problems. My Doctor hero. Anyway I won't go into too much detail but basically I'm having lots of my bone problems fixed hopefully.
I've started watching OC. It rocks, seriously it has so many people with facinating personalities and issues for a guy like me who LOVES studying people and how they deal with life this is good stuff :D. California here we come man...
I'm continuing my wonderful adventure to learn more about my gifts, talents and skills so that I can best lead the life that God has put me on this earth for.

Can't remember much about this week but I had a good evening today :). I sat down with my parents to discuss about my future and the things I want to do. We talked about God and his purpose for my life and some how things became clearer because I know that the best thing for me to do with my life is to live it according to his plan. So now I'm getting back on track, still feeling abit weird, but track is coming back into focus now.
Then I watched one sermon from the Alpha Course which rox by the way, I'll write about it one day...
Today was pretty fun :). I went to church in the morning and sat down in front of Cheryl and Teri. You see, they took my comment to heart, I said that I hardly see them wearing feminine clothing then all 3 of them came in skirts! Heheh I was so impressed... but Cheryl still bunned..erh tied! up her hair. Jac was leading, she did well la had a big smile on her face. Everyone had fun while worshiping God. The focus was there :). So after that I went for army cell and listened to my brothers in the army talk about stuff. Was abit distracted though, not sure if I should be there considering I'm not in the army right now. But still I go... Then I went for shine forth with Claire Tay, we met up with the others and I sat down between Teri and Claire. A.k.a cannot concentrate! Well at least I got down some important points. God communicates with us firstly through the scripture, through this we can learn to recognise his voice through other ways. We must listen, comprehend(i think) and obey. Yup good sermon! We were playing alot though, to the dismay of many people I think. Claire took my wallet and Cheryl and Teri were drawing on my book. Heheh I admit it was fun though :) Sigh...
After that was the WORST part of the day, where we were deciding how best we could all go out together. Leading to the BIGGEST MISTAKE in history where a WHOLE sec 2 class went down to PS for lunch and a movie! Plus Ben, Claire Chong, Lisa Hui and Daniel. Basically I feared the worst thus asking some of us to go first to prevent disaster coz too many people in orchard = stressful and tiring. Then Lisa sat her butt down and condemned us to our doom. I won't talk too much about the stressful and tiring time we had trying to "hang out" together. All I have to say is thank goodness Daniel came along, I think I would have lost my mind having 3 girls vs one boy... BUT arcade was WAY fun. I wasted lotsa money and promise I will never step into an arcade for a long time. We played Daytona USA! I came in 2nd forever. Either lost to Teri or Charlotte, at least Teri was a clean player! This Charlotte actually attacked my car! Take my steering wheel and turned it, leading to a great battle which resulted in both of us losing to Teri. All her fault! Turn my steering wheel?! I TURN yours!! cRASH whahahaa!!!!! Ok anyway after that I tired myself out playing the police man hiding game. Then the samurai poking game. Virtual reality games so fun yet so incredibly stupid. As usual Lisa Hui wandered off without saying a word (if you're reading this Liz BYE.Argh.:P), Claire Chong and I said bye to the rest and with exhausted breaths we walked to the bus stop in the HORRIBLE sun... At least after that I got the car! We played rugby and Chart Teh! It was really fun, kicking stuff is fun! I came just as Teri had to run off as usual. She always says my timing sucks. Aiyah what to do? I'm not super man.
Oh I'm not done yet btw. We watched Troy! Yao, Ming and I went to watch what I thought was one of the best movies of all time. It rocked. Period. Ownage flick. Up there with Terminator 2, The Matrix and LOTR. IMMORTALITY ITS YOURRRSSZZ!!!!! Then with the weird Greek accent:" ISH THERE NUU ONE ELSEZZZ ISH THERE NUUUUU ONE ELSEZZZ!!!" Hahah you gotta admit Brad Pitt can act. Orlando is just gay as usual, and Eric Bana gave a stunning performance, in my opinion one of the best actors of this millenium.
I'm going backwards in time.... now it's friday. Let me tell you how fun it is to be part of the fellowship with our dear Jac Woo on what I now call "Jacqueline Woo's amazing adventure". Corny? You won't think so after I write this INSPIRING and EXCITING account.
It was a dark and stormy night... ok fine it was rather hot. We moved out of our cool and calm homes to meet at the appointed time. Taking the 171 bus down to Orchard Road where we would meet the rest of our fellowship. On the way, her friends from school caught her with this charming young man(That would be me btw just in case you were'nt sure you know?) and stared. Jac groaned and whined. Moving on... anyway we met with Teri and Cheryl who had decided to come along for the ride of the centuary, to find the perfect dress gown. Then Jolene came too, even though she had 2 other gowns. I'll never understand girls.... We walked! AND WALKED! AND WALKED SOMEMORE! Meeting with Debbie and Joe at Tangs~ I looked at Joe with a tear in my eye. He did not know what he was getting himself into...the horror that would soon become apparant to him. I only hoped that his gaming magazine would be able to sustain him through the perils that would come his way.
THE JOURNEY CONTINUED!!!! With the fellowship trudging behind us, Jacqueline Woo continued her search for the perfect dress! Some too big! some too small! Some too this colour! Some too that colour! The perfect dress was no where in sight. She was distracted by other things~~~~ I could tell when we were going to make another detour! Her head would turn. (Oh no). Then her torso. (NoOoO!) Then the legs. (NOO!!!!!) Then with a large grin on her face it was off on another side quest for shoes, tops and other misc items! Some times the only way to push her onwards would be basically to drag her screaming and shouting all the way out(*edited for more drama, it was mostly me screaming and shouting but you get the idea.) Then it became CLEAR! The dress which was whispered about.. the HUNDRED PERCENT PERFECT DRESS!!!!.......... was never to be found. So a 99 PERCENT PERFECT DRESS was decided upon! At the one man who could possibly do it... who's name I've forgotten, I just remember it sounded rather gay. Anyway! Yes the Dress was found! And the journey was OVER! Weary from the day that will remain in infimy(is that how it's spelt?). We sat down and rested, what a day it had been... What a day it had been.
I'm gonna get killed by the incredible Jac after this but it was fun writing! :D
We all had fun! and would love to go shopping with you again! After I recover from this time though....
Argh midnight so fast... Better get to sleep. Hope you enjoy reading this as much as I did writing it! Byeeeee

Just watched an episode of CSI:
70 Percent of the world's chocolate is produced in West Africa. The country still uses lead petrol (as of season 3 of CSI), the lead gas goes into the atmosphere and comes down as rain which falls on the coco plants which are then made into the world's chocolate. Thus over a period of many years of eating large quantities of chocolate, you will die of lead poisoning!
I fear chocolate now...

*Ah the smell of exams from my friends is passing... finally :D*
I watched Van Helsing with Justin today, it rocked btw. I wonder if it was a mistake because now Teri and Cheryl wanna watch it too... My money no morez :( *sniff I got a cold from too much thinking and too much exercise and not enough sleep.
We stayed back on sunday as usual, the MG Trio were mugging(without firstly getting distracted and somehow bringing the conversation to theme parks around the world. Yeah Jurassic Park! Back to the Future! But they were all too short to go on roller coasters. Aww one day la =)), the gents were break dancing (which is way cool but I think I'd break something really..) and I was trying to read my purpose driven life book. My contacts were acting up and it was really hot so it became a futile endevour. The captain's ball game was so tiring coz of the weather and too many people on the court. Crashing and bashing and heat are not cool. Cheryl was quite cool during the game coz she can pass and run around really well, she looks so serious when she plays ball. Not like the spaz one that we all know, hur hur... Wah lao she did this spectacular pass to me which like bypassed 3 guys came to my right hand and i pushed it forward to Melvin for the finishing touch. Shiokness, and I used to think that captain's ball was a sissy game. We've converted it into an art man...
Our Gen Y AC Guys were pulling off some nice break tricks for our entertainment during the afternoon, along with some cool pyrotechnics which were rather dangerous but cool... and some funky voice tricks which converted poly ring tones into sweet jazzy melodies. Zhen Yang (who is a great guitarist up and coming btw) played some cool blues and some metal, Claire studied...got distracted and played with my phone till the battery went flat (Yes flat Claire, cldnt message after that).
So what's going on in my life? I'm pleased to announce that I'm putting my life back on track and researching/discovering/planning my career and university studies. It's really fun and exciting but it's so sad that I'm gonna leave behind all my friends especially those that I've just got to know this year! So sad!! Why don't you all come with me! =D!! Haha

Men and Women: A study.
Ben's notes.
General.
-Relationships fail because men still don't understand why a woman can't be more like a man and woman expect their men to behave just like they do.
-Hormones and brain wiring are connected to the way we act and think.
Women. Are they superior? Communication wise? Probably.
SENSORY ABILITIES.
BRAIN
-Women's intuition is due to their more finely tuned sensory skillls. This allows them to sense subtle mood and attitude changes in others as well as apperances. It also allows them to notice small details.
EYES
- They have a wider variety of colour cells in their retina, due to the fact that women have 2 X choromosomes. This allows them to see colour in greater detail. They also have more whites which allows a greater range of eye signals to be sent and received in the direction that the eyes move. (Thus rolling, enlarging and direction of eyeballs when women communicate. Think Lisa :P)
-Women have wider peripheral vision, allowing them to take in their environment more easily, thus they can see more things without moving their head or eyes. *Up to nearly 180 degrees. Men tend to have tunnel vision which allows them to see faraway objects while not being distracted by the surroundings. Thus our need to turn our head when looking at things which are sideways or upsidedown.
-Oogling. Men are easier to catch because they have to turn their heads and make eye contact with their target, while women can often see their target without looking directly at him. (Next time when you see a pretty girl walk past you pay attention to your guy friends because their eyes and head will move to follow the target, and often zone out. And girls who look at their friends while commenting on that guy.)
- Men are better configured for night time activities especially driving. Women tend to be able to see better in the dark, but not at long range. They often can't tell which side the incoming traffic is coming from. But this allows them to read and do things better in at short distances. For example, threading a needle and reading detail off a computer screen. (No wonder they always have such small fonts for their blogs!) Men often get headaches from reading off the computer screen too often because their eyes have to constantly reconfigure themselves when looking at things at short range. So keep a relative, constant distance between you and your computer dudes.
WHY WOMEN HAVE A SIXTH SENSE
-Most women have an ability to predict outcomes of relationships, spot liars, talk to animals and uncover the truth.
- The ability to detect a wide range of emotions through both visual and audio.
- When a woman enters a room it takes her less than 10 minutes to analyse the relationships between each couple in the room. When a man enters a room he scans for exits and entries, then familiar faces or possible enemies and finally the layout of the room. Probably finding things which need to be fixed or broken due to his logical mind.
WHY MEN CAN'T LIE TO WOMEN. But unfortunately women can lie to men.
- In face to face communications, non-verbal signals account for 60-80 percent of the impact of the message, while 20-30 percent are vocal sounds, finally 7-10 percent are the words.
-How it works in a woman is that: Her superior sensory equipment pick up and analyse this information and her brain's ability to rapidly transfer between hemispheres (a.k.a left and right brain.) make her more proficient at integrating and deciphering verbal, visual and other signals. Therefore it's easier for men to lie over over the phone, in a letter, or forgeddaboutit.
HORMONES
- Woman's oestrogen hormones allow her to identify matching items and later remember the objects in a complex random pattern. Such as where butter is in the fridge.
HEARING
- They hear better than us and can distinguish high pitched sounds. They can also separate and categorise sound and make decisions about each sound. A.k.a they can listen to more than one conversation at the time and still be able to do other stuff. (Makes you wonder about that smaller percentage of women who can't do this, why are they like that? Sports? Being around too many boys? Higher percentage of male hormones? Hmmz...)
- On the plus side males find it easier to know where a particular sound is coming from. How does this work? Our brain receive sound and turn it into a kind of 3d map, thus if 4 or 5 sounds came from different directions we would be able to make a 3dmap of where all the different sounds were coming from. Probably.
- Multitasking, like answering the phone while the tv and radio are on at full volume is something which most guys can't do and women do with ease.
-They can also differentiate tone changes in voice volumes and pitch. Thus for every man who can sing in tune there are 8 women who can do the same thing. This probably is the reason why more men are tone deaf than women.
-Men can identify and imitate animal sounds. Wow how useful.
-Another facinating but not really useful skill is that men are better at seeing than hearing. Allowing them to edit and see mistakes in written work easily. If there is some kind of logical sequence though.
MEN MISS THE DETAILS.
- A cool fact is that what men would call sexy is often called bimbotic by women. Things to look out for is the way a woman is flirting with a man: The tilting of her pelvis towards him, pointing her foot his way, flicking her hair, stroking her thigh, massaging her earlobes, give him longer than usual glances, talking like a school girl, stroking whatever. (Visual, vocal and body language signals.) Don't ask me why. Just think about it. If a woman came up to you and spoke to you and you were just having a nice conversation. We as men, probably wouldn't notice that she was absolutely flirting with you, details...
TOUCH. A study in the effects of touch on people showed that people who had no affection when young grew up to be rather violent. In fact, pet petting therapy proved to be a vaulable way to solve problem related to non-touching cultures. E.g. The English and their love of pets.
-Women also are more sensitive to touch than men. Much more so. The most sensitive guy is not even as sensitive as the most insensitive girl (in terms of touch receptors).
Heh that's enough for today Ciaos.
"A Woman knows her children's friends, hopes, dreams, romances, secret fears, what they are thinking, how they are feeling and usually, what mischief they are plotting. Men are vaguely aware of some short people also living in the house."

Heh that's enough for today Ciaos.
"A Woman knows her children's friends, hopes, dreams, romances, secret fears, what they are thinking, how they are feeling and usually, what mischief they are plotting. Men are vaguely aware of some short people also living in the house."

I sat down today and figured out that I probably won't make it to the University of Melbourne under normal circumstances.
So I moved on to other options:
Unfortunately, Law has just become highly recognised in the international front and the requirement just shot to the roof. Probably won't make it, no harm applying though. The plus is I've always been better at talking, investigating and dealing with people. Law might be good for me if just abit tiring emotionally. Monash is the only other alternative I can think of right now, it's not that hard to get in unfortunately the reputation of Monash isn't top notch. The plus is Monash is in Melbourne which is more lively than Perth.
*Mental reminder: Check and compare all the other universities which offer Law which is recognised in Singapore.
The other option is medicine, which is just as tedious to get in. Due to the limited amount of space (like 150 I think), I have a disadvantage just making it into the minimum requirements, but I got full marks for the medical and health science exam (which is basically a really big IQ and EQ test), there's also the interview which I have to ask my dad and his doctor friends about. Not to mention the fact that I have to take bio chem/physics and biology. I have never been interested in science, until recently that is... so more or less the past 19 years of my life have not been really sciene orientated. Heck it has been mostly game orientated...So the 6 years will be extremely tiring. Yet again Monash is another possibilty.
*Compare this degree as well.
The worst possible scenario would be to take the foundation year again. But I lose the advantage of being one year faster than my peers and being able to take advantage of this year plus to prepare for university.
I'm still looking into a general degree which would allow me to have a good all round skill level related to business, but I can't turn down the fact that I might be able to get into medicine and follow the same path that my father took.
Hmm options options...
Arts/ Commerce is still an interesting prospect. Good balance of what I enjoy and what I require.
Research!
My Long term goals. In no particular order. The goals of Ben the extremely ambitious young man.
1. Enjoy my work and my life.
a. Respect and power.
b. Not having to take crap and follow stupid protocol.
c. Never having to follow strict and stupid rules.
d. Making sure I am not working for some complete buffoon.
e. Having a musical career on the side. For fun.
f. Someone people would look to for anything. Reliable. Trustworthy. Wise.
g. Making enough money to satisfy some of my wants. All would be nice too.
h. Buying a house which follows my interior designs, no leaky roof, no wasted space which I won't use.
i. Living close to community centres, basketball courts, gym, club, facilities. Apartment!
j. A Japanese modified sports car. Some thing respectable which I create myself not some expensive euro crap which is just money and brainlessness.
k. Fame. Not too important, but some acknowledgement by the world is nice.
l. Having a close relationship with God. Coz if he doesn't want me to rise in power, I wouldn't be happy at first but it would be best to follow his will.
m. Enjoy a holiday to a different part of the world every year if possible.
n. Watch all the broadway shows in London.
o. Play team ball sports as often as I can.
p. Learn how to play ABIT of golf. Tennis. All those stoopid business games.
q. Make a movie.
2. Get married.
a. Trust God to let me marry the right woman at the right time.
b. Have a nice big family. Eventually. But young enough to play with my kids. Like 35 or something. Oldest Boy, Girl, girl, boy. 4 kids. Lotsa money...
c. Eventually move to a big home maybe not in Singapore. Maybe Australia :D. Don't wanna bring my kids up in this stupid education system anyway.
3. Work in Church when I'm around 55 or 60. Enjoy retirement by opening a nice christian bar if my dad hasn't already. Visit Jerusalem.
4. Become old, have many grandchildren. Go around the world at least once, visiting nice places at least twice. Go to eternity having fulfilled whatever purpose God had for me while I was here. Die smiling. :D

Hallo every peepolez~,
Haha I just got off the icq with my old buddy from Perth. Had some good laughs talking about the good old days... man those were fun days I wish I had more years in the college scene it was soooooo fun. I wanna just jot down some of it. (It wasn't all fun but hey you don't wanna know about the not so good times)
*BEN THE OLD MAN SHALL BEGIN!*
Sitting in the quad (this was a NICE quad btw, nice clean comfortable grass, no mud and faeces, GREAT weather, bright blue sky, peaceful...), our principal would walk around like the great principal he is, get to know all the international students BY NAME no less...(How cool is he?) My mates and I would take out our guitars and sit on the fence and jam some dumb songs we wrote. We even got complimented on it, I was pleasantly surprised that people enjoyed our music. Even though the lyrics were often dumb and repetitive... Once during a performance, we played the funked out version of Britney Spear's "Hit me baby one more time" had some AWESOME laughs, the whole school was singing along and clapping...
Then of course there was the abundance/ magnitude/ large amounts/ wow of girls... and goodness when one has spent so much time in a boys school playing cs and talking cok for so many years. I won't lie that I am a good boy and all that, but I didn't flirt that much...UNTIL my lady friends said stuff like "Wow, that guy Ben is really unfriendly isn't he? Maybe he doesn't like girls..."
Played basketball aLOT. Man I loved the game even with my pai kah, sometimes I regret that I never had a chance to play before college. But I thank God for the chance, cramps, aches, muscle tears and all. Everyday I played basketball with my friends, ang mohs, hk, cheena, the works, all united in the joy of playing da game we all love. Then I had great house mates man, I loved hanging out with them, they were all great! Wah lao the auntie was our mum: COOK>CLEAN>WASH>LOVE US Thanks Auntie Pris! You were great!!!, 3 of them could DRIVE (The most important skill in perth.), and the 2 boys loved ball games and talking cock. We always had something to do. Biggest problem? NO CABLE INTERNET!!! WAH LAO! COULD'NT LIVE! 56K SO SICKENING! SO SLOW! ROAR!!! And Phone BILLS!!! ARGH!! No hot water either!!! So COLD AT NIGHT! But besides that Perth was the best thing that happened to me at that time. Hanging out at the bubble tea place, having dinners and lunches like adults. Bill? I handle la... No la... really ar? Ok lor....
Did I mention the girls? I did? Aiyah
And the canteen sucked so bad? It was one queue and the food was all fast food, crappy imitations of our asian food. The plus was that all the service in Perth was HAPPY to serve you! THEY SMILED AND SAID THANK YOU! Some even knew us by NAME! Gave us FREEBIES!!! Wah LAO I LOVE AUSTRALIANS!!! ARGH THEY'RE SO NICE WE COULD LEARN A THING OR 2 FROM THEM! YOU KNOW WHY THEY LIVE SO LONG?! COZ THEY ARE SO LOVING TO ONE ANOTHER!!! Ok enuff ranting... no wait AND THEY ARE ALL COURTEOUS DRIVERS!!! WAH LAO THEY GIVE WAY TO P PLATES!!! P PLATES!!!!!!! ARGH!!!! THE BUS DRIVERS ACTUALLY WAIT FOR YOU!!!! THEY ALL SMILE!!!!! ARGH!!!!!!! Ok done really. No really...
The environment was the best. It never rained, no humidity, blue skies, windy, 17 degrees for most of the year. Green grass, UBER BEACHES (Minus them sharks). Only bad thing? SHOPS CLOSE AT 5 ON ALL DAYS BUT THURSDAY! DAmn UNIONS! ARGH!! Movies 10 DOLLAHS! Cabs? 50 bucks from let's say bukit timah to orchard. During school days nothing is open. Non cable tv sucks. CABLE TV THERE ROX BTW they have COMEDY CENTRAL BEST CHANNEL IN THE WORLD!
I loved Australia. I really wish Singapore was more like Australia, if they made a Singapore/ Australia Hybrid it'll be a perfect place for me. I'll miss everyone when I go back though... 5 years is a LONG time. Then the post grad... wow I hope I never lose track of everyone... nevermind WEB CAM! YES!
I'm gonna make full use of my time there man. Study study study. Play basketball. Get a dog, low maintainence, medium size, good fellowship, guard dog... Hmm... what would be a good breed? Enjoy a Bachelor's life (enjoy? hmm maybe not.). Get involved in the church there (can someone say UNITED LIVE?). Live life to the fullest. If God doesn't have any violent objections to it of course. Must study though, I wanna be someone productive and useful next time. $ would be the product of it maybe, but the most important for me is to make sure work doesn't take over my life.
So exciting man, I can't wait.
But I'll miss everyone here, it's so sad yet so exciting. There's so many things to enjoy in this world and such a short time to do so. Nevermind, eternity will be better, alot better. God let your will be done k? I'll try to be satisfied, no promises but I'll do it through your strength given to me.

MC GOT EXTENDED AGAIN!!!! YEAH~~
A few things I have to clear before I blog.
1. Jac has a really annoying brother named Jon who must break and touch everything. This connects to...
2. Charmaine who destroys everything. Who likes to stare at...
3. Yado who is now bald. Who is friends with...
4. Chang who loves army. Who was standing next to...
5. Ben who rox btw. He rox coz...
6. Claire sucks! Who knows...
7. Darbie who helped carry my stuff. Who studies sometimes with...
8. Teri who is getting her hair waxed on sunday. She sees...
9. Cheryl who pontanged cell!
I started applying for accomodations in UWA. I might be going back to perth to study after all... Melbourne may not have the combination that I want, it's rather sad really. It's so fun to think about schooling again... But not so fun about thinking about all the friends I'm leaving in Singapore AGAIN. For what 5 years plus plus? Sigh...
Ah well too sleepy toodles...
