Spider-man 2 is coming out tomorrow! Too bad everyone is in school etc... I feel like watching it anyway. Hmmm :S
Today I went down to Dr. Tho's to see what's next on the "Remove Ben's bones" agenda, here comes the pain.

Hi peepz,
School's starting for the fellows of the world, hope you guys finished your homework :).
It seems that I have a high chance of getting discharged from the army some time this year :D. So I can have that absolute freedom to do anything I want rather than fear about that shadow of army hanging high above my head ready to charge me for going out of my house.
Still got at least one more major operation before I can breathe easy. A snip there and a slice here and I should be functioning without too much trouble.

Well that ends another week. :S
Such is life that today some bad stuff happened but I rather not talk about it because I am TRYING my best to hold on to whatever small amounts of faith I have and trust God.
Sentosa was quite fun :) I miss the beach overall... The water was actually quite relaxing, australian water is like 8 degrees or something but you get used to it. The sea is a wonderful place to swim :) makes you feel LIGHT. Hahahahha...
Well I don't have my driving license anymore so I can't drive, or bad things might happen. So I better go down to ubi and get my card replaced...
Then gotta get the SAF card replaced asap. Bad things WILL happen if I don't get that replaced.
I'm feeling quite peaceful for some reason...

Full-time National Servicemen who are currently serving their 2½ years of service will get up to a 2-month reduction in service duration. However, the earliest date that the ORD can be brought forward to will be 30 June 2004, to allow time for administrative out-processing arrangements.
Those who are enlisted between June and November this year for 2½ years of full-time NS will get a 4-month reduction in full-time NS duration.
Full-time National Servicemen returning from disruption to serve out the balance of their 2½ years of full-time NS will also be given a corresponding cut in their full-time NS duration based on the cohort in which they were enlisted.
The current 8-week reduction in full-time NS duration given to National Servicemen who have attained at least a Silver in the National Physical Fitness Award (NAPFA) test prior to enlistment will remain.
Yey my army gets cut by 2 months, while those who just enlisted get cut by 4. And the heros who enlist in dec 2004: 2 years...
SIGH. Your will be done.

Dear Mr Phua,
Thank you for your email.
I can appreciate your disappointment at not receiving an offer for Trinity Foundation studies but irrespective of your O level results Trinity College has a policy which does not permit us to admit students who have commenced any Australian Matriculation program, New Zealand Bursary (Year 13) or any other Australian Foundation program into our course.
This includes any of the programs offered in Malaysia and Indonesia (eg SAM, TEE and HSC) as well as those taught in schools in Australia (including VCE).
The best suggestion I can give you would be to apply for direct entry to the University of Melbourne.
Wishing you all the best with your future studies.
Regards,
Lesley Allen
Great now I get to enjoy the wonders of Perth life yet again. Joy to the freaking world.

Well after a few days of no internet in my room, my dad has managed to pull off the impossible and set up a good wireless connection to my room! It's good stuff.
Well the lakers are getting trashed, the fear of championship loss looms overhead. I always thought of Phil Jackson as a great coach but he doesn't seem to be able to create a strategy for the lakers to defeat this piston team who have dominated with their pick and roll shot taking, side-to-side passing and really really high energy defense. I smell game over...
Still have yet to receive notice of my entry into Trinity College, I'm starting to worry that they will not give me a place after all. Oh well, that'll just mean I'll be doing commerce rather than law. It'll be alright.
Bored though, by 26th June I would have completed 1 and a half years of army time. 1 more to go, don't really know how to use this time more productively. After getting notice for my post army life, I'll be able to make plans for the future.
As of today all my friends have been posted somewhere or another, after bmt, most of them have ended up in one clerk job or another.
My dad is keeping me awake so I can be his guinea pig for some internet phone thing which he can't wait till tomorrow to try. I'm getting sleepy liaoz...

Hi everyone, I havn't been updating or been online for a while because my dad needs the full use of the internet for his work. Right now I'm using his computer. Don't like hanging outside here, hope he finishes with it soon.
Today was pretty fun la with the fellows.
Oh and I led worship this week, I was abit confused and tired so I couldn't really be in tip top shape, so I just asked God for help and did what I could. Teri gave me water and sweets so nice, thx Teri :D.
Darbie and Jon were poking and fighting each other... such a nice happy extended family.
Claires decided to attack me today, I ganna wack and wack and they kept saying "really ah? really ah?" YA REALLY AH!!
We swam today, it was rather fun~ Jon Wong just so happened to be a water polo player so he did his stuff today. Then the Claires just so happened to fall into the swimming pool so I gotta fight back with splashes.
Hopefully we can plan sentosa next week, I'm feeling so tired I think I'll just fall asleep in this chair. Jon wants me to sing for 10:30 next week as well. Operation day looms... Thank God for a lovely day. :D
OH and NBA FINALS GAME 4 TOMORROW. Lakers you HAVE to win. Go team~ go!

The Lakers WIN. Unbelievable. Firstly, no team in the NBA has ever won the finals after losing 2 home games. The lakers were down 3 at the end with 10 seconds left on the clock, Kobe steps up, drops back, fires, 3 points. Tie. Overtime. Trashing.
He is the man. Followed by this Luke fella who did some brilliant ownage passes which really saved the day.
I love this game.

Just watched Day after tomorrow, really good stuff. Unfortunately, since you can't really fight the weather it was mostly people dying and stuff.
Today was my visit to the doctors for fun filled CT scans and X rays. Sitting in that tube staring at the roof is mind numbing, followed by sitting on an x ray table, followed by standing in front of an x ray machine. I hope I'm like not impotent...
After staring at the roof for too long I went to meet the fellas for the movie, and continued stoning...
I watched the guys play liero Xtreme today. I still remember the days at Kev Lim's house bored nuts on sunday afternoons playing liero, with all the pixelated blood. Lotsa red pixels...
Tomorrow = NBA Finals Game 2.

NBA fever.
Alamak, lakers just lost game 1. Cmon dudes!!
Yesterday's captains ball match was challenging, till the cramps came in. I guess it's not enough to be getting fitter, I need to get used to being out in the sun and getting into gear over and over again. I'm just wondering if we should learn more strategies for getting balls over the big guys, hakka were really showing some fantastic shots which just rainbow right over the big guys. Worst was their really large amounts of big guys.
Anyway operation's on the way, so it's time to focus on stuff other than sports.
The Punisher was terrible. 0 stars. Negative even.
The week ended well. Thank God.

Time to move on.
Feel alot more peaceful.
Still have to play electric guitar for sunday school but maybe I can ask Dan to let me go. Then lead one last time, the one in august I'm sure someone else can take over.
Now I have to figure out how to make this last year in Singapore as fruitful as it possibly can.
1. I have a number of books that I have wanted to finish
2. Hooked up with Eldon, probably go hang out with him and the poly fellas soon.
3. Gotta ask Michelle about YAM, gotta start going for their meetings see what it's like.
4. Wanna master my pool technique, get better at 8 ball, practice placing then move on to 9 ball.
5. Start swimming when I lose my car preveileges.
6. Start studying when I lose my leg preveileges.
7. Start reading up on melbourne life.
8. Play basketball and soccer when I can.
9. Up the standard for my guitar playing both acoustic and electric.
10. Maybe even the vocals, even if I'm not sure how.
I don't enjoy having to live like this really, but I think it's better than the alternative. Maybe. Anyway I chose to get rid of extra bones rather than work in that place. They really gave me no reason to stay around. There is always a reason for the way things are so I assume that this is no different. I try to be faithful and believe that God will be by my side. I try not to hate people, really try but I don't feel it necessary to have to explain every action to people whom I don't feel that I am accountable to. So I'm leading my life this way and I really don't care what they say about me, coz it's alright. It's alright.
Everyday now. Must make the best of everyday starting from now. All of these days.
After I quit Music ministry and sunday school I will truely be accountable to no man except myself and my parents. And only to God. So I'll be truely as far as the word goes, FREE.

Woke up today and went straight to the books, read finito muahz Michael Heppell book which is an awesome read. Still got some bits of the book to review, get back to it soon. Now reading the Adam Khoo book which is a much longer read, planning to finish it in a day or 2.
Went to IDP to sign up for the July intake for Trinity college, which will be filled with mostly non Singaporean people. Exposure! I hope they can all speak english 'cause I'm not into trying to communicate in cantonese, chinese, indionesian... Chinese if I desperately have to. But it would really be a kick to hang out with the aussies again. Then there's Felix thank goodness. Shouldn't be a big issue.
My greatest concern is I might not be able to join the basketball team! I hope I don't miss the season, I've been dying to play in Melbourne U's team, better brush up on the handles and shots if I wanna be accepted.
Decided on my subjects: Math 1B for business, Psychology (My cup of tea :) ), Media & Communications, History of Ideas, Drama, Literature, English for Academic Purposes.
All arts subjects to prepare myself for Law, also I feel more confident with arts subjects, so I'm not too worried. Even better since I can start preparing now. My goal is all As and at least 90 percent overall. Must ace it to get a confirmed spot at Uni of Melb.
Mmm... did I mention I love eggs? :) And thank God making eggs is easy, I can live off eggs forever.
Anyway, heard alot of good stuff about Melbourne, I wouldn't mind living there. Snow upwards, surf downwards. Lotsa sports all year round, shops close late, trams that go anywhere. If it really grows on me I might not come back :D. Only bad part is Australia generally gets movies really slow, technology is behind and video gaming is a joke. Ah well I can live without high end technology. Gimme a basketball over a LAN shop anyday. And to top it off? They promote amateur musicians to perform, I can make money off the side as a performer :P Go find a nice place to perform at once in a while... Study hard, play hard. Wonderful, I'll never be bored.
Hopefully Melbourne gets some nice weather from time to time, I remember those hours of studying and relaxing in the grass with a big tree over head, no damn fire ants and wet mud. Shiok.
Music, arts, sports. I think I'm gonna like it in Melbourne :D.
