Today I watched a movie about a person who led a routine lifestyle, alone, doing a thank-less job. Who then found out he was going to die and decided to do all the things that he wanted to do which was to learn how to play the guitar (only learnt one song) and he was fortunate enough to find a girlfriend.
He then promptly got hit by a bus saving a child. But the story changed, and he lived through it.
One important thing that I was reminded of is that we all die eventually no matter what we do.
All I want is to have a bunch of people who think like I do and do something meaningful with our lives.
I don't want fame or fortune. And I realised quite simply that I don't really want to change the world. The world doesn't really want to be changed. I just want to change some minds and leave some impressions. Most of all I want to be happy, everything else is secondary.
But another thing I realised is that you can't change your situation, and even if you can move out of your country, you have to be fully prepared for the place you are going to.
Perth is a beautiful place, but a person cannot become very successful, I had a glipmse of happiness in Perth and I liked it.
I never found that glimpse in Singapore.
I'd like my adredeline rush to come from an adventure not some office battle, or politics.
And most of all I'd like to be self-sufficient. I mean a decent home with a fast internet connection would be adequate to satisfy most of my daily desires. Most of all I want a place that I can CALL home permenantly.
